Jacqueline Williams is a Principal Project Engineer  for a Fortune 100 Aerospace company.  

 

She is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority holding the position of President. 

 

Jacqueline is Trustee Board Chair, Director of the Music Department, and Music Director for children ages 3-11 at her church.  Her passion is providing Young Adults and Youth the skills to become committed leaders.

 

Jacqueline has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona  and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Ashton Brock, PhD, NRCC is a Clinical Director for Laboratory Sciences of Arizona. 

She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and serves as the secretary for the local Alumnae chapter.

Ashton is well-experienced in scientific research & publishing, grant writing, and written & oral presentations.

Her passion is providing service to others with emphasis on education and STEM programming.

Almetra Walker is a Director of Human Resources at Maricopa County Community Colleges District. 

She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, and serves as a financial officer for the regional board of directors.

 

A recepient of numerous personal and professional accolades, she is passionate about helping to end homelessness and mentoring youth.

Almetra has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University and a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University.

Nydia Hayes is a Intellectual Property Legal Project Assistant for Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, LLP (BCLP) Law Firm.

She is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. having served as the past Scholarship Chair for the local Phoenix Alumnae chapter.

Always looking to be of service to the surrounding communities, Nydia has served as a past co-chair of the community outreach committee for Black Nurses Association of the Greater Phoenix Area and a committee member for other community organizations.

 

Nydia has a bachelor’s in technology management as well as attended an HBCU to complete a degree and certificate in Paralegal.

Shelonda Simpkins

Shelonda Simpkins has over 15 years of experience in higher education, specializing in student recruitment, advising, and program coordination.

 

She currently serves as a Sr. Program Coordinator at Arizona State University’s School of Counseling and Counseling Psychology, supporting faculty and prospective students through the admissions process.

 

Shelonda holds a Master of Arts in Education (ASU, 2024), a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership (ASU, 2023), and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Ottawa University, 2004).

 

Her academic interests include special education research, focusing on neurological developmental disorders.

 

Passionate about mentorship and educational equity, she is committed to empowering students through servant leadership.
