Emerald Woodland, EdD, is a K-12 education administrator and professor in Arizona. In 2018, Woodland co-founded Help in Hand LLC, an education startup in the West Valley that provides consultative services and resources designed to improve the education outcomes of students with learning differences.
Woodland earned her bachelor’s degree in African American Studies with an emphasis in Socio-cultural Anthropology from the University of California at Los Angeles, a master’s degree in Special Education, as well as a masters in Education Leadership, and a doctorate of Education Leadership from Arizona State University.
She has written articles and presented on topics such as K-12 education, professional development, behavior management, and inclusive classroom practices. She is a Teach for America alumna and maintains membership in the UCLA Alumni Network, Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals and the Arizona Association of School Business Officials (AASBO). Dr. Woodland is the doting aunt of two nieces and five nephews and a beloved mentor to countless young men and women.
Ashton Brock, PhD, NRCC is a Clinical Director for Laboratory Sciences of Arizona.
She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and serves as the secretary for the local Alumnae chapter.
Ashton is well-experienced in scientific research & publishing, grant writing, and written & oral presentations.
Her passion is providing service to others with emphasis on education and STEM programming.
Jacqueline Williams is a Principal Project Engineer for a Fortune 100 Aerospace company.
She is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority holding the position of Sergeant-At-Arms and a member of the Finance Committee.
Jacqueline is Trustee Board Chair, Director of the Music Department, and Music Director for children ages 3-11 at her church. Her passion is providing Young Adults and Youth the skills to become committed leaders.
Jacqueline has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Almetra Walker is Human Resources Professional at Maricopa County Community Colleges District.
She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, and serves as a financial officer for the local Alumnae chapter.
A recepient of numerous personal and professional accolades, she is passionate about helping to end homelessness and mentoring youth.
Almetra graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from NAU and Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University.
Brianna Eason is a graduate of Arizona State University who specializes in Marketing and Communication.
